Have you ever had a knot in your back that won’t go away? I’m dealing with one right now. It’s annoying — and maybe I’m just being a wimp — but occasionally, it flares up and sends a sharp jolt through my shoulder, reminding me it’s still there. Why do I bring this up? Because some of the players I will discuss in this article are the knots in my fantasy league. They show up in tweets or articles doing something impressive, and it’s just a painful reminder that I don’t have enough shares. I didn’t draft them, or I passed on the opportunity to pick them up.
This week, I’m diving into the Dodgers' farm system, and wow, it is exciting. I could’ve included plenty of names in the “3 Up” section. The real challenge was finding players whose value has gone down.

Brendan Tunink LAD CPX
.312/.423/.578, 3 HR, 9 SB 15% BB, 27% K
When applying a filter of at least 75 at-bats and age 23 or younger, Brendan Tunink ranks among the top 20 ISO leaders.
I was excited to see Brendan Tunink making this article as I roster him in my home league. With the Dodgers investing in him — and given their strong track record with player development — I’m buying into their evaluation and Tunink’s potential to become a very intriguing prospect. Reports describe him as a great athlete with excellent bat speed. So far, Tunink is showcasing his complete skill set at the Complex level. He’s already tallied five triples and 10 doubles, in addition to the home runs and stolen bases noted above. According to PLive+, Tunink projects as slightly above replacement level (30% strikeout rate, 15 home runs, and 20 stolen bases over 600 at-bats). Alex Jensen wrote this about Tunink on the Daily Sheet for June 12th.
While I don’t love the comp, I love that he’s showing off his skills.
Tunink is ranked #341 in our June update, up 54 spots.
