Prospects Live was founded at the end of the 2018 Minor League season by five individuals looking to make a new mark in the prospects world. They included Matt Thompson (current partner), Geoff Pontes (now with Baseball America), Jason Pennini (left to scout for the Twins), Lance Brozdowski (now with Marquee Sports) and Jason Woodell.
