I don't want to make anyone mad by not including him. Valdez's AFL stint has been awesome, but I just wonder how much of this is him and how much of this is the caliber of pitching he is facing. Because you cannot deny the power; in an upcoming list you are going to see I 70'd the power. But I did 40 the hit tool because I am worried about what the contact and amount of contact looks like.
116 off the bat, whew baby. That is the sort of power Bo Naylor has in the bag. There is a lot to like with Naylor, because if it all comes together he is a catcher who can hit 20 homers and possibly steal 15 bags. Do you want to guess who the league leader in stolen bases at the catcher position was this past season? Agustìn Ramirez, with 16. Naylor has similar speed to Ramirez so maybe there is a fantasy starlet on our hands, if he can beat out the other catchers on the Royals roster, because all their good hitting prospects are also catchers.
Caba is never going to have crazy power, but if he can post a few 99 mph EVs, hit a few homers here and there (12-15), and play elite shortstop defense, he has a chance to be a perennial 3 WAR player. He is someone I pull up and watch defensive video of a lot because he is the smoothest shortstop defender I have ever watched.
