I wouldn't be shocked to see Kuroda-Grauer be the Athletics' second baseman by the midway point of the season because the hodgepodge of Max Muncy, Zach Gelof, and Darrell Hernaiz has not been able to carve out any significant playing time for the Athletics. I do think JKG has the ability to hit for more power than his raw power would indicate, thanks to the ballparks he will be calling home. It is interesting he is playing a bit of left field, but that could be more a product of trying to find a way for his bat in the AFL.
We are big fans of Joseph Sullivan around here; there is some power and some speed here. I think he may end up being the next fourth-outfield type the Astros get the most out of. He has a ton of power and a chance to be a good power-speed threat. The 99th percentile upside here is 2023 Chas McCormick, the heir to the spice throne.
