The Mets will have an interesting decision with Nick Morabito this offseason as they will have to decide whether to add him to the 40-man roster or risk losing him to the Rule 5 draft. He can play all three outfield positions and has some speed. There is a chance this is to audition him for his next team, where he projects out as a solid fourth-outfielder type.
I didn't quite know what to expect with Caba going into the AFL, but he has surprised me. His defense is getting rave reviews, and so are his plate skills. He doesn't hit the ball hard, and that will be a problem, but the defense and the contact give him such a high floor as a player. The glove itself might allow him to be a perennial 2.5 WAR player, and if he can even be a 90-100 wRC+ type bat, we would have a stew going.
