Sunday’s college baseball slate wrapped up the weekend with a flurry of standout performances, as bats stayed hot and key arms delivered in pressure moments. Offensive stars like Daniel Cuvet, Drew Burress, and Lucas Moore capped off huge weekends with statement swings, while arms like Jason DeCaro and Brady Miller locked down critical rubber matches. Across the board, teams leaned on their biggest names to close out series wins, setting the stage for a chaotic final stretch of the regular season and continuing to shift momentum (and draft stock), as May approaches.
Below are the top performers from Sunday's games!

Daniel Cuvet, 3B, Miami - 4 AB, 1 R, 2 H, 3 RBI, 1 HR, 0 BB, 0 K
The hot-swinging third baseman continues to mash, and in this one (played at the iconic Fenway Park), Cuvet once again came through in a big way. He delivered a two-hit, three-RBI performance to help Miami complete the sweep over Boston College with a 3-2 win. The decisive blow came off Cuvet’s bat: a three-run homer down the right-field line that snuck just inside the Pesky Pole to give the Hurricanes the lead for good. At this point, Cuvet has firmly cemented himself as one of the top third base prospects for the 2026 MLB Draft, flashing some of the loudest tools in the class at the plate. On the season, he's slashing .323/.392/.581 with 10 home runs, 56 RBIs, and 35 runs scored.
Lucas Moore, OF, Louisville - 5 AB, 2 R, 2 H, 6 RBI, 2 HR, 0 BB, 0 K
Eddie King Jr., OF, Louisville - 3 AB, 2 R, 1 H, 2 RBI, 1 HR, 1 BB, 1 K
With the Seminoles piling up injuries on the pitching side, serious questions are starting to emerge about whether Florida State will have enough arms to make a deep tournament run, especially if the bats don’t consistently show up. Those concerns only grew louder after this weekend’s beatdown in Louisville, where the Cardinals capped the series with a 14-2 thrashing.
Unlike earlier in the series when Louisville played small ball and ran wild on the bases, this game turned into a home run derby. Lucas Moore led the fireworks with a double-dong performance, launching a two-run shot to center in the first inning before delivering a walk-off grand slam down the right-field line to seal the run-rule victory. Zion Rose followed Moore’s first blast with a solo shot of his own, sneaking it just inside the left-field foul pole. As the designated hitter, King Jr. got in on the action too, hammering a two-run homer to left later in the first inning and making FSU starter Mendes’ outing one to forget.
Louisville looks like a deep and dangerous offensive group right now, and if the brackets fall their way, a trip to Omaha absolutely feels within reach.
Brady Miller, LHP, Boston College - 7.0 IP, 5 H, 0 R/ER, 1 BB, 1 K (78 Pitches)
Sometimes it’s not about velocity or racking up strikeouts, it’s about pitching to contact, creating weak contact, and trusting the defense behind you to do the job. Sunday afternoon was a textbook example of that from Brady Miller. Miller embraced the "pitch to contact" mentality and delivered a gem, tossing seven scoreless innings while allowing just 5 hits all game. Throughout his outing, he induced 10 ground ball outs and consistently kept the ball inside the spacious confines of Fenway Park, showing full command of the game plan. Nonetheless, once he exited the game, the bullpen couldn’t hold the lead, and a single swing ultimately flipped the result in a tough 3-2 loss.
