Welcome to the 1st edition of an 8 (or more) part series where we’ll go through position groups, highlighting draft-eligible college prospects that could see their stock rise from the 2026 season. These lists will mostly consist of players who missed our Top 50, who could break into the list before draft day. Also, we’ll sprinkle in some lower Top 50 guys that we think can sneak into the 1st round.

All of these players have flashed something that we think could carry them into a grade jump, but haven’t consistently shown it yet. We’ll offer what adjustment we’d like to see them make to complete that crucial jump.

First, let’s dive into part 1 of our RHP picks.

Logan Reddemann, UCLA

6’2 / 185lbs (Not Ranked on College T50)

Logan Reddemann, as a Sophomore, was U-San Diego’s top arm, and after their pitching coach left for Oregon, he jumped into the portal and landed at UCLA. He earned All-WCC 1st Team honors by limiting walks at a terrific rate (5.3% in 2025), while also showing some strikeout stuff (23.2%). Reddemann throws from an ordinary ¾ release, out of an active wind-up, & has a standard 4-pitch mix. His fastball sits in the lower 90s, touches 95, and its best tool is its ability to command the zone (67% strike%) & set up his secondaries. Those offerings are led with a spin-killing Changeup that has 9mph of velocity separation off the FB, and has been a weapon for him to generate swing-and-misses (40%), even with a high zone rate (66%). He throws two breakers, with a Slider sitting in the low 80s & considerable downward break, and a larger breaking Curveball in the mid 70s, with nearly 30” of break off the Fastball. He’ll double up the SL over the CB & has a better combination of present feel and performance with the Slider. All pitches grade better than a 40, but none better than a 55, although his best skill is his clear plus command.

Reddemann has an extremely high likelihood to win a weekend starter job, and we think he has a good shot to be their Friday night guy. We’ve recently seen two UCLA pitchers come out of Westwood with less-than-stellar FBs, but great command & a go-to secondary have success in the minors, with Astros’ RHP Alonzo Tredwell & Cubs’ LHP Ethan Flanagan, both from the 2023 Draft. Reddemann missed out top 50, and was not exactly an honorable mention for the list, but if he can handle the step up in competition in the Big Ten, & allow UCLA to help him develop out the secondaries to a plus level, we think he can be a Day 1 arm. He’ll certainly pitch to an upgraded defense with numerous Draft-worthy prospects behind him, leading with #1 Overall player SS Roch Cholowsky.

Luke McNeillie, Florida

6’3 / 190lbs (#32)

Luke McNeillie has made some spot starts for Florida in his first two seasons, but has mostly served as a high-leverage multi-inning RP with success in the SEC. He’s a thin athlete who throws a Fastball in the mid-90s with lots of carry & out of a low release, creating the desirable low VAA action. He’ll throw the fastball close to 50/50 with a Slider, which is a hard downer that has nearly 2' of vert diff & sits in the mid-80s. Both pitches have been high whiff generators with the Fastball & Slider getting 28% & 46% whiff rates, respectively. As an occasionally used third pitch, the Changeup has some separating action, but no command, although he does not have solid command across the entire arsenal.

In 2026, McNeillie should have a good chance to make the Gators’ weekend rotation, where he can showcase if he has the talent to translate his stuff across a starting pitcher’s workload. To do that, he’ll likely have to show that the CH is better than the well-below-average offering it has performed at thus far, plus a little better feel for the zone. Still, he has the arm talent & body control to handle this transition to the rotation, & if he excels in the SEC, we’re looking at an end of 1st Round talent.

Chase Meyer, West Virginia

6’2 / 175lbs (NR)
