Happy Fathers’ Day, folks!

One of my favorite things about my dad – my original favorite baseball player – is how he’s always down to watch a game, even on a day about him. In fact, one of the key ways we bond is through baseball, and I am quite sure many of you can say the same about your fathers or your children. I do not mean to drone on but wanted to reflect on the specialness of the day and what it means before we dive into the action in Omaha – thanks for indulging me!

Hogart rips, man. The country’s leader in leadoff bombs did not go yard in Omaha but collected the most hits of any batter in the contest and continues to be one of my most dangerous and intense sleepers for next month’s draft. Kid’s gonna be the most immaculate senior sign. Meanwhile, Tauken made a stellar catch, running at the wall with his left arm extended and came away with the grab before clocking a double to center field later in the contest. America’s underdog will need to handle Arkansas to remain alive in the big dance – best of luck, Racers!
