Almost identical lines for Sale on back-to-back Fridays, there’s not much analysis to add other than he’s healthy and on a roll. Sale is still a fantasy ace.
‼️Noah Cameron, LHP KCR (MLB)
6.2 IP, 4 H, 1 ER, 1 BB, 8 K, HR
Three starts, three great results for Cameron to begin his big league career. He won’t light up the radar gun and needs to mix up his five-pitch mix while hitting his spots in order to post lines like this, but we can see that Cameron can be effective when at his best. Because he relies on inducing weak contact, there will be games where he gets knocked around a little, but he’s showing he knows what he’s doing out there which is very promising.
💣💣Pete Crow-Armstrong, CF CHC (MLB)
3-for-5, 2 HR, 2B, 2 R, 6 RBI
This is my fourth Friday night sheet and I’m pretty sure it’s the fourth time PCA has been on it. What more can you say about this guy? He’s an impact player in every aspect of the game at a premium position and has all the characteristics and skills to be a true superstar. Because of his athleticism he looks like he is going to be a player who outperforms his skills (at least during his prime) so don’t worry too much about his aggressive chase rates just yet.
Seiya Suzuki, RF CHC (MLB)
3-for-5, HR, 2B, 3 R, 3 RBI, K
Is this the most underrated player in the league; he’s definitely in the conversation. Suzuki is performing similarly to previous seasons with one notable difference. This season, he is lifting and pulling at an elite level which is very exciting, especially as the weather warms up in Chicago. Suzuki is as trustworthy an option as you can get.
Leody Taveres, RF SEA (MLB)
3-for-4, HR, R, RBI
Tavares had his best game since joining the M’s, tallying three hits and launching his second homer (108.7 mph) in three games. Tavares has enticing tools, but is probably best served as a part-time player due to his poor approach and inconsistent hard hit data. He’s a deep league consideration because his strong defense gets him on the field regularly.
‼️Jacob Lopez, LHP ATH (MLB)
7.0 IP, 3 H, 1 ER, 1 BB, 8 K
Lopez is going to get a shot to run with a rotation spot and he grabbed the bull by the horns on Friday night. With Osvaldo Bido’s ineffectiveness earning him a demotion to Las Vegas, Jacob Lopez will be the guy, at least for now. Lopez set career highs in innings pitched and strikeouts in this outing. He’s definitely a command-over-stuff arm and is susceptible to giving up the long ball, so expect some ugly outings, but in favorable matchups Lopez is an interesting option.
💣💣 Oneil Cruz, CF PIT (MLB)
2-for-5, 2 HR, 2 R, 2 RBI, K
Dynasty managers can’t be disappointed with what Cruz has accomplished so far this season (10 HR/18 SB). Cruz hits the ball as hard as anyone in the game (119.6 max EV and 97.0 avg EV in 2025) and finds the ideal angles often enough to hit homers to all fields. He will most likely lose his SS eligibility after this season, but Cruz’ offensive profile will play in the outfield. At 26, there is still time for him to improve his approach and contact skills, so the best might still be yet to come.
‼️Zack Wheeler, RHP PHI (MLB)
6.0 IP, 3 H, 0 ER, 2 BB, 8 K
That’s three straight scoreless outings for Wheeler; he’s locked in right now. His under-the-hood skills are incredibly stable and he’s even improving when it comes to suppressing hard contact. He’s maintains his top 5 SP status in dynasty
Steven Kwan, LF CLE (MLB)
3-for-5, 2B, R, RBI
If you have Kwan on any rosters you know how valuable he is. Yes, he doesn’t hit the ball hard and yes, he doesn’t have good bat speed, but let’s focus on what he does do well. Kwan has elite contact skills (96.2 zone contact, 91.5 overall contact) and strikes out just 8.7% of the time. His hard hit data might make you think that he will be a zero in the home run category, but Kwan does a fantastic job hitting the ball at ideal angles and Cleveland is an underrated right field for home runs so another 14 home run season is a definite possibility. Kwan is a fantastic OF3 option.
🆕 Ronald Acuna Jr., RF ATL (MLB)
2-for-4, HR, R, RBI, K
Acuna ambushed a Pivetta heater on the first pitch he saw back from the IL for a leadoff no-doubt (115.5 mph, 467 feet) announcing his return to the league. This is exactly what dynasty owners have been waiting for. What is the realistic expectation for Acuna in 2025? Coming off his second ACL surgery will he run like he normally does? Don’t bank on it, but it truly looks like the power is still there. Conservatively, would 20/10 be an acceptable outcome this season? Is this a time to possibly sell high? It’s definitely something to consider after this performance.
Eric Wagaman, 1B MIA (MLB)
3-for-5, HR, R, 3 RBI
I wrote about Wagaman last Saturday and he earned himself another mention on the Daily Sheet this week. Wagaman is a nice depth corner infield piece for your roster who puts the ball in play (86.0 zone contact, 73.5 overall) and will run into a few homers.
🍔🍟Trea Turner, SS PHI (MLB)
3-for-5, HR, R, 2 RBI, SB
Turner had a combo meal on Friday night and now has four multi-hit games in his last five. Here’s hoping this is the start of a nice run for Turner because his batted ball data has been trending in the wrong direction for a while now. 20/20 or even 20/30 is still in play, but the margin for error is smaller than it’s ever been. With eight years and over 221 million left on his contract, here’s hoping (for the Phillies’ and dynasty manager’s sake) he can hold onto his skills for several more seasons.
Rafael Devers, DH BOS (MLB)
4-for-6, 2 HR, 3 R, 8 RBI, K
It’s been a lively first couple of months for Devers and the Red Sox. PR-wise, Devers has painted himself into a corner with how he’s handled the 3B/1B/DH position discussion. Pushing all of that aside, Devers has been on a tear; in the month of May he’s posted a 1.274 OPS with 7 home runs. Devers is right in the middle of his prime and can carry your fantasy team when he’s hot like this. His bat plays as a UT-only, but wouldn’t it be nice if he just accepted the move to 1B?
Rob Refsnyder, RF BOS (MLB)
3-for-5, HR, 2 R, 4 RBI, BB, K
I wanted to shout out Refsnyder because he plays an important role for the Sox as a lefty mashing reserve OF. Even if we see Roman Anthony get the call in the next few weeks, the Sox would be wise to keep Refsnyder around because he’s a talented hitter when deployed in favorable matchups. He’s probably only rostered in the deepest of leagues (20+ teams), but he can be an effective weapon especially in daily roster move leagues.
Triple-A
Covered by Will Thompson
Marcelo Mayer, 2B BOS (Triple-A)
2-for-4, HR, 2 R, 2 RBI, K
The power is consistently showing up for Mayer now and that was really the last box to check off in his development. He played second base in this one with the Red Sox getting him more work there as Kristian Campbell learns first base, but he might be pushed to 3B with Alex Bregman likely heading for the IL. Regardless of where he plays defensively, it’s time to bring him up.
Jhostynxon Garcia, CF BOS (Triple-A)
2-for-4, HR, R, 2 RBI, K
I went on the On Deck Podcast earlier this week and said that I thought it was too soon for the Red Sox to promote Garcia because the power hadn’t shown up in Double-A yet. Well maybe a move to Worcester was exactly what he needed because he’s now got two long home runs in his first three games. The power is going to need to consistently show up for the password to maximize his profile so we’ll see if he can sustain this.
Blaine Crim, 1B TEX (Triple-A)
3-for-5, HR, 3 R, 5 RBI, BB
Crim’s first big league stint didn’t go well (0-for-11, 6 K), but he continues to hit with Round Rock. Crim has absolutely torched LHP in Triple-A this season, hitting .382/.410/.765 against them so he could have some value as a short side of the platoon type when he gets another big league shot.
Kyle Teel, DH CHW (Triple-A)
3-for-4, HR, 2B, 3 R, 2 RBI, BB
Teel is one of the hottest hitters in all of minor league baseball right now. With this performance, the 23-year-old extended his hitting streak to 19 games and during the streak, he’s hitting .380/.463/.606 with four home runs and just an 18% K rate. Edgar Quero has been excellent at the big league level so there’s no rush to bring Teel up, but if he keeps hitting this well the White Sox might be forced to get his bat in the lineup somehow.
Jonathon Long, 1B CHC (Triple-A)
2-for-5, HR, 2B, 2 R, 2 RBI, K
Long should be getting more prospect love than he is currently because he absolutely rakes. The 23-year-old has destroyed Triple-A pitching this season, hitting .364/.424/.558 with six home runs in 34 games. He’s also in the 97th percentile in hard-hit rate (60%) and 95th percentile in average exit velocity. The problem is that he doesn’t really have a position and the Cubs are set at 1B with Michael Busch. Maybe a trade candidate at the deadline?
Luke Little, LHP CHC (Triple-A)
2.1 IP, 0 H, 0 ER, 0 BB, 4 K
Little’s one big league appearance this year was a disaster, but he’s been dominant in Triple-A and that continued last night. The lefty’s ERA is down to 1.00 and has five walks to 21 strikeouts in 18 innings. Walks have plagued him throughout his career, but his command has shown considerable improvement in 2025. I think Little deserves another shot in the big league bullpen in pretty short order.
‼️Carmen Mlodzinski, RHP PIT (Triple-A)
6.0 IP, 4 H, 0 ER, 1 BB, 10 K
Mlodzinksi dominated in his first start of the season in Triple-A after being optioned by the Pirates, generating 16 whiffs on his way to a 10 strikeout night. I still don’t think there’s much value in him as a starter at the big league level, but he’s good depth to have and the Pirates might as well keep him stretched out if they need him.
Josh Rivera, SS TOR (Triple-A)
4-for-5, 3 RBI
I really liked Rivera as an amateur, but he just hasn’t been able to stay on the field consistently and when he has, he just hasn’t been able to hit. The former Florida Gator really struggled in Double-A this season before getting bumped up to Buffalo and now for the first time in pro ball he’s starting to hit well. I doubt there’s any prospect value here, at least not yet, but good to see Rivera swinging the bat better.
👟Justin Crawford, CF PHI (Triple-A)
3-for-4, R, 2 SB, BB
Justin Crawford continues to be awesome at the Triple-A level this season and might be pushing for a call-up somewhat soon. He’s got tools, but I don’t love Crawford as much as some do. The GB rate is so absurdly high (60%) and I just don’t think that plays at the big league level, no matter how fast he is. The 21-year-old will get his chance at some point though.
Jesus Rodriguez, DH NYY (Triple-A)
3-for-4, R, RBI, BB
Rodriguez is on an insane run right now and is now hitting .389 in 30 games since being promoted to Scranton. His .453 BABIP is absurd so regression is coming at some point, but he has an excellent approach and doesn’t swing and miss much. Rodriguez is never going to hit for a lot of power, but I really like the player. He could be a legit backup catcher option to Austin Wells long term and he’s better than JC Escarra.
🔜Matt Wallner, DH MIN (Triple-A)
3-for-5, 2B, 2 R, 3 RBI, K
Okay we get it Matt Wallner, you’re ready to come back off the IL. He had a double dong day on Thursday in his first rehab start with St. Paul and followed that up with a three-hit day yesterday. The Twins have played really well lately, but they need Wallner’s thump back in the middle of their order and that should come soon.
Sean Linan, RHP LAD (Triple-A)
3.2 IP, 4 H, 6 ER, 3 BB, 6 K, HR allowed
Linan absolutely dominated the lower minors this season but the Dodgers elected to skip Double-A and bring the 20-year-old right to Triple-A. There was always going to be a learning curve with such a quick step up in competition and the first two starts have been a struggle. Linan is still missing bats so that’s a good sign, but veteran hitters aren’t going to chase the way Low-A guys did which explains the seven walks in his first two starts. Linan is still awesome, but there’s going to be bumps along the way as he gets used to Triple-A.
Jac Caglianone, DH KC (Triple-A)
1-for-3, HR, R, 4 RBI, BB
To no one’s surprise, Caglianone has continued his run in Triple-A, hitting a first inning grand slam last night. He’s a big league hitter right now and the Royals could make the call-up at any point now. He’s ready for the show.
