Coby Mayo, 3B BAL (Triple-A) 3-for-4, HR, 2B, 2 R, 4 RBI, BB

This long ball marks for three straight games with a homer for Mayo and his season total is now 20 even after missing some time. Mike Elias was on the broadcast tonight and he indicated that he’s thinking about ways to get Mayo in the fold and believes he’s very close to big league ready. 

Matthew Lugo, OF BOS (Triple-A) 3-for-4, HR, 2B, 2 R, 4 RBI, K

Lugo has been one of the bigger breakouts this year where he’s looking line he could be average offensively with the ability to play all over the diamond. It’s a simple swing and you have to wonder if this resurgence is something that it health related? 

Kyle Manzardo, 1B CLE (Triple-A) 1-for-3, HR, 2 R, 3 RBI, BB, 2 K

Manzardo hit his tenth homer of the season in the first inning. It’s been a disappointing year but he returns to Triple-A and hopefully can build on that. He looked overmatched this year in the big leagues.
