Ramos got hot at this time last year with a slight HR surge. He has been consistent at the plate all season long, but fantasy managers may be missing some of the power as he is hitting for a higher AVG at the top of the lineup.
Keith has really turned his season around and is showing consistency for the Detroit lineup. To me, players who adjust and do so quickly are players to keep tabs on, and Keith is fitting that mold of adjusting to the big leagues. He has 12 HR on the season, with 11 of them being against RHP.
Sometimes I forget how young Greene is and how impressive he has been in his 24-year-old season. Blasting a grand salami in this one, he now has 32 HR and 99 RBIs with just about 30 games left to go. He has the potential to finish with 40 HR, which would be extremely impressive for his age.
I may be a bit biased towards Neto as I do have a bunch of shares of him in various leagues, but every time he hits a HR he is a must add to the daily sheet. He should now be viewed as one of the top SS in the game as he is approaching his first 30/30 season.
Giolito is fitting in nicely in the middle of a solid rotation for Boston. He will go into next year potentially as a free agent, so it'll be interesting to see what Boston does with the veteran arm. He now holds a 3.47 ERA on the year through 111 IP.
Looking like the best acquisition of the deadline, Laureano has provided a boost in the SD lineup to continue his impressive 2025 season. In his last 162 games, he is batting .298 with 30 HR, 91 RBI, behind a .884 OPS. Maybe he is not as underrated as we think...
Corbin went through 8 scoreless innings for the first time since 2019. He has been an intriguing player in my personal fantasy leagues this season, constantly being streamed, held, or dropped. Still having a 4.33 ERA on the year, he provides good K upside.
Springer has had a full resurgence year in 2025 as he now has 24 HR and 67 RBI. Going up against Joe Ryan, he had very competitive at-bats and worked counts all night long. In his last 9 games, he has 5 HR. Let's hope he can have a strong finish for the upcoming playoffs.
Messick now joins Joe Musgrove as the 2nd pitcher in MLB history to start their career with back-to-back 6 K performances, allowing just 1 run and 0 walks allowed. Through 13.2 IP, he has a 0.66 ERA and a 0.88 WHIP. Never doubt the Guardians pitching factory.
It's been a disappointing season to say the least for Albies, as he is hitting .231 behind a .644 OPS and 12 HR. An intriguing stat about Albies is that he has 9 home runs on the road, take that for what you will, but Albies will always have a great hitting profile thanks to his switch-hit ability as a 2B.
The results at Triple-A haven't looked good for Morris, with a 5.68 ERA and a 17.1% K% at the level. Most of the struggles have come against lefties, as he's allowed a .963 OPS against them, versus a .623 OPS vs RHB. He's a sidearmer with a 6-pitch mix but mainly throws a sinker, sweeper, and 4-seamer with the fastballs touching 96, and he could be an effective reliever against righties with those three pitches alone.
Jim Jarvis was acquired from the Tigers for Rafael Montero at the deadline, and his solid performance after the trade earned him a promotion to Triple-A. He hasn't shown much game power and doesn't make enough contact to make up for it, but he had three hard-hit balls last night, which makes him intriguing if he can find a way to do that more consistently.
One of those rare games where a hitter misses out on a cycle because they didn't hit a single. CES has been solid in Triple-A with a 110 wRC+, which is good, but not good enough where he’s knocking on the door and you just have to let him in.
On the other hand, here's a Cincinnati infielder who is knocking on that door. Sal has 4 home runs in his last 6 games, and with the Reds being 3.5 games back of the Mets for the final wild card spot, he could be a key contributor for them down the stretch. Sal was primarily a third baseman, but has played some more first and second base more recently; if he can be passable at either of those two positions he could usurp Spencer Steer or Matt McLain from their everyday roles.
