“Coastal Sports Academy (Loxley, AL) held our annual college scout day this past Friday. These college players train at CSA during the winter break for a month then are tested on the last day before they return back to school. CSA has developed two Top 10 Round draft picks and 55 collegiate players through the lens of a professional evaluator since opening six years ago. Last year, six MLB clubs were in attendance, but with the new MLB Amateur Recovery Period lasting until January 15th, Josh Catlett from Prospects Live was the primary scout able to attend the event.”
