On Deck is going to be our pro-side podcast that doesn't take itself too seriously. This podcast will also be available in video format on our YouTube page, which is highly recommended to get the full experience.

On Deck features two of the best minds at Prospects Live, plus me. I'm not sure how I got here, but I'm happy I did. Drew Wheeler, from our Dynasty team, is our glorious host who does the most, with an infectious energy you just have to see on video. Rhys White, our Director of Pro Scouting, brings the knowledge and in-depth player analysis you can only find from a pro. He has also been termed 'the face of baseball media.' I round out the team, handling editing duties and the occasional witty remark.

A fun note about the music you'll hear throughout each episode- every song comes from the band The Droptines, who have kindly given us access to their catalogue for this podcast. You can find them on any music streaming app.

You can expect a new episode of On Deck every Tuesday at 9 AM PST, with premiers going live on YouTube at this time. This podcast is also available in audio formats on your favorite podcast app. You can easily find every episode on the Prospects Live Podcast feed or under its own title.

Episode Description:

In episode one, the guys come out of the gate hot, discussing Rhys’ podcast walkup songs in a cold open. Next, multiple minor league performances and promotions are analyzed, followed by MLB talk, where the trio reveal who their biggest surprises and disappointments are in 2025. A mock draft is then conducted on Prospect Live’s mock draft tool, where Rhys and Drew recommend who they would take at the top of the draft. The episode concludes, as always, with ‘what’s on your mind?’ A segment where the guys forget about baseball and have an open mic and even more open ears.
