Despite finishing 2025 with a winning record at home and having the surefire NL Cy Young winner as their ace, the Pirates were so abysmal away from PNC Park (27-54) that they finished in the basement of the NL Central for the second straight season. While their pitching was largely effective all season long, the Buccos ended the season with the worst OPS in the majors (.655) and desperately need an injection of hitting talent. Thankfully, the cavalry is coming.
