We are all celebrating as Jackson Jobe has locked himself into the fifth starter spot for Detroit with a good spring. We just want to see the whiffs come for Jobe, but that might be a sequencing issue that we have faith the Tigers will get out of him.
Roman Anthony, CF BOS (Grapefruit League) 0-for-1, 3 BB
When he comes up, he is gonna be so good. I have questions about whether he can stay in center, but that is more because of the Boston Red Sox roster construction and me being one of the last remaining members of the Raffaela fellas. But Anthony drawing three walks in this outing shows what he can provide, a good approach with good power. Maybe not this year, but it wouldn’t be that far out of the realm of possibility to see a perennial 30-homer bat.
