March is hands down my favorite month. I know we aren’t there yet, but it’s on its way, and there’s no extra day to wait for it this year! We’ve got the Ides of March, springing ahead, St. Patty’s Day, college basketball… oh, and baseball games mixed in with fantasy drafts!
Smith could make a push for the Major League roster this year, though it's a bit of a long shot. If that happens, I envision Parades moving to 2B. Nothing really seems to stand in Smith’s way, and I’m a fan of Shay Whitcomb, too.
A late-round NFBC target. Gorski or DJ Stewart (who also homered today) are fighting for a roster spot at camp. Spencer Horwitz’s start to the year is questionable, and while Stewart is older, Gorski can play all three outfield spots, so both could make the roster if necessary.
15 home runs and 19 stolen bases last year. He provided plenty of fantasy value for you. We saw some power metrics improve from his debut year, with an 86.6 mph average exit velocity (up from 85 mph), a better launch angle, increased barrel percentage, and a higher hard-hit rate. His stolen base opportunities will improve if he works on his 2.6% walk rate.
