The Dynasty Baseball Championship (TDBC)
Overview
What is The Dynasty Baseball Championship also known as TDBC?
These are low touch point dynasty leagues with a fixed five-year time frame and best ball scoring. We’ve eliminated trading & in-season transactions and put all the focus on the initial draft and yearly off-season free agent drafts.
What does that mean? No uneven trades that ruin leagues. No churning and burning in daily leagues, or teams consistently getting the pickups needed because others neglect the waiver wire. We’ve also decided to collect all five years payment up front, essentially eliminating owner turnover.
How exactly does this work?
Using the Fantrax platform, you’ll participate in a slow draft and select 50 players from an open player universe. Once the season starts, each week your team will automatically generate a point total from the top 10 scoring hitters and top 9 scoring pitchers. After the season is over, the highest cumulative point total wins the league that year. It’s really that simple.
What else is required? During future off-seasons you’ll participate in a 10-round free agent draft.
There will be prizes for both the winner and runner up in each league for each season, as well as the winner and runner up for the cumulative point total over the 5 year period. Each multi-league competition will also have an overall champion at the end of the 5 year period as well!
