The Dynasty Closer Hierarchy has been alive and well for over 2 weeks now, making this a great time to check in and update some things.
The hierarchy claimed its first W right after its release, predicting Zach Agnos as the next closer of the Rockies, mere days before he got his first save opportunity out of nowhere. I have previously mentioned it is most important for you to pay attention to tier 1 and 2 predicted closers that have not debuted yet, as those will be the easiest to obtain in your dynasty leagues. Agnos falls perfectly in line with this thinking and should be a mainstay at the top of the Rockies' bullpen for years to come.
Another important ranking to me was the flamethrowing Ryan Lambert being on the original hierarchy after having less than 5 professional innings under his belt. He has since become one of the best low-minors relievers out there, rising a spot in the Mets hierarchy in this update.
This update comes with 22 new faces to the hierarchy, which means 22 guys also fell off of the rankings. I would focus most of your attention on the top 2-3 guys from each hierarchy unless you play in a crazy deep league, or a deep daily format that values holds highly.
The hierarchy has certainly come with some small misses as well, which will be discussed as I go deeper into each team. Before I dive into that analysis, let’s introduce you to the newest members of the hierarchy:
