George Springer, DH TOR (MLB)

If you thought that the all-star break was going to slow George Springer down, you thought wrong. His best season as a Blue Jay continues to roll on, posting career-highs in hard-hit rate and walk rate. Toronto just doesn’t lose anymore and they’ll have a big opportunity to get some breathing room in the AL East with the Yankees coming to town next. 

Ryan O’Hearn, 1B BAL (MLB)

1-for-4, HR, R, RBI

O’Hearn launched his 12th home run of the season against Tampa Bay and continues to be one of the best rental bats out there on the trade market. There’s little doubt that he will be dealt, it’s just a matter of who. The Red Sox seem like a great fit here, especially since they have lefty masher Romy Gonzalez to cover the short side of the platoon. 

Xander Bogaerts, DH SD (MLB)

2-for-4, HR, R, 4 RBI, BB

For as bad as Xander Bogaerts was at the beginning of the season, he’s been hitting really well for a while now. Over his last 33 games, Bogaerts is hitting .331/.391/.484 with 10 doubles and three home runs. The contract is still a disaster, but any short term production Bogaerts can still give the Padres while he’s still at least okay is valuable.
