Death, taxes, and the Yankees' spending in free agency are life’s only certainties, however, so expect their eventual 2028 roster to feature some as-of-yet unsigned superstars as Cashman and Co. try to keep the momentum going and challenge for a championship every year. That said, the team has more than enough talent under contract and in their farm system to field a competitive team three seasons from now.
