Overall: The Royals signed Florentino for roughly $750,000 in 2018. The Dominican infielder is limited to second base due to his size and frame, but has good hands and moves very well on the dirt. At 5'9 and 135 pounds his game is built around making contact, utilizing his speed and catching the ball. He moves well on the dirt, but the lack of arm strength pushes him to the right of second base. He's a high energy contact oriented bat that has surprising pop for his size. A plus runner, Florentino has a chance as a chance to play everyday and hit at the bottom of the lineup.
