Overall: Dominguez took a non-traditional route to the Mets, but the late blooming teenage arm might have the highest upside of any arm in the organization. The Venezulean teenager was already 18 years-old when the Mets signed him, and has already had a big velocity spike going from touching 94 to hitting 97, and now he can bump 99. He's gotten stronger since signing and also throws a big vertical curveball and a fringy change. At 6'5", 195, Dominguez has room to add good weight to the frame. He's a potential big arm that will play an important role on a pitching staff.
