Overall: Tineo is a shortstop signed by the Rangers as part of the 2020 class. He's a switch-hitter that hits line drives to all fields, but lacks strength and doesn't strike the ball with authority. What he lacks in size he makes up for intangibles, and he gets praised for his defensive skills. He lacks the flair that some of the guys have in this class, but he is one of the better up the middle gloves in this international group. He was rumored to sign with teh Braves, but that fell apart and he ended up with the Rangers for $600,000.
