Physical Description: Tall and sturdy right-hander on the mound with great size. Large upper half with broad shoulders. Trunky thighs and stout legs fill his lower half. Near full maturity, little room for added size to his frame.

Delivery & Mechanics: Low three-quarter arm slot operation. Loose arm action with a bit of deception dropping his right arm up until point of release. Average arm speed and little effort in delivery. Incorporates lower half well, right leg remains key in delivery. Solid extension, lacks strikeout stuff but fills up the zone.

Fastball: Low-to-mid 90s offering with sinker-esque movement. Fastball has touched 95-96, but sits primary 92-93. Late movement and spin keep it low and away. Lacks consistent whiffs, but forces soft contact. Go-to pitch in his arsenal with above-average tools. Grade: 55

Slider: Mid-80s slider that lacks consistent break out of the zone. Needs more refinement and tight spin to miss bats. Sits in the zone and gets barreled. Potential to be an average off-speed pitch. Grade: 45

Changeup: Low-80s changeup that is still behind in development. Lacks shape and armside fade. Sits firm in the zone without any late movement. Needs more reps and consistency to become a reliable third pitch. Grade: 30

Control and Command: Lacks elite stuff, but does a decent job filling the zone. Shows good feel for his fastball-slider combination. Throws fastball well low and away. Occasional mistakes up in the zone. Gets out of jams, forces soft contact. Showed more growth and improvement in his command since pro ball. Control: 40 | Command: 40

Overall: Fiegl's sturdiness on the mound bode well for his strike-throwing ability. He lacks a substantial three-pitch mix and must improve his changeup as a viable third pitch. Fiegl can potentially fill a back-end starter role, but his lack of stuff makes him more of a reliever.

Physical Description: Listed at 6'2, 217. Physically maxed out; strong and muscular but very stiff.

Hit: Slightly open stance, hands set up low and away from body. Above-average bat speed with pull-first approach. Some swing length and very poor bat control lead to a lot of swing-and-miss, even on hittable pitches within the strike zone. Really struggles to handle breaking stuff, especially against left-handed pitching. Average plate discipline. Grade: 30

Power: Above-average raw power. Has the pull-oriented uphill bat path to get to some of that in games but also swings through too many pitches he should drive. Grade: 50

Field: Doesn't move well laterally behind the plate. Slow hands as a receiver likely to lead to below-average pitch framing. Grade: 40

Arm: Showed plus arm strength with carry to second base but inconsistent throwing accuracy as an amateur. Grade: 55

Run: Well below-average athlete and runner. Grade: 30

Overall: McCann's a 'three true outcomes' player whose limitations on both sides of the ball probably limit him to a role as a third catcher. He's strong, with enough raw power and selectiveness to draw some walks and hit a few home runs but his hefty strikeout totals limit his offensive ceiling. McCann's a below-average receiver, although the potential implementation of an electronic strike zone could help him stick behind the plate. He'll need to do so, because he's not a good enough hitter to play first base regularly.

Physical Description: Strong, athletic build. Thick lower half. He's filled out the frame very well to the point where there is little room for any physical projection.

Hit: Open stance. Hips are settled back pre swing so most of his weight is on his back leg, which is bent. Front leg only has a slight bend. Hands start by his head. Utilizes a knee high leg kick for load mechanism. Hands are loud throughout the load process. Quick hands help him to get around on pitches, but he seems to have trouble reading the ball out of the pitchers hand. This results in a lot of check swings, swinging at fastballs way out of the zone, and missing badly on breaking balls. When he gets the right read he can put barrel to ball well. He does like to sell out for power early in the count, then he becomes more of a fighter with two strikes. Selling out for power less often might be beneficial. That said his walk rates are very good. Improvements with this tool will be paramount towards his future. Grade: 30

Power: His strength and quick hands, along with an uppercut stroke, help him to crush mistakes. His raw power is easily plus. The good thing about his power in game is that it currently plays to all fields. In order to access more of that raw power, there have to be improvements in the hit tool department. But even with the hit tool being what it is, his power is fringe average. Grade: 45

Field: His speed helps his range. He's more than capable of handling left field. There still are some improvements to be made across the board, but he is far from a liability in the outfield. He might be a centerfielder if not for his arm. Grade: 45

Arm: Considered a strength as a teen, the arm hasn't progressed much at all. It's going to hold Armenteros to left field. Grade: 40

Run: Long strides and reaches top speed quickly. Speed plays very well on the bases. Grade: 55

Overall: The talent that once made Armenteros a coveted international free agent is still apparent. His power and speed combination are very real. Even with the hit tool concerns being what they are, he nearly had a 20/20 season in A+. For that to translate at higher levels there will have to be improvements made in his pitch recognition. His arm will limit him to left field, but if everything comes together perfectly his power and speed will make him a really good one. Making strides in the pitch recognition department will go a long way in helping the hit tool improve, which will be a necessity.

Physical Description: Wiry build with enticing athletic traits. More room for added muscle to his upper half. Strong lower half highlighted by sturdy legs and thighs. More room for added size as he physically develops.

Hit: Shortened his swing path since pro ball. Has a more sound and collected stance in the box. Hands stay well above the letters. Slightly crouched with bent elbows and legs shoulder width apart. Subtle left leg kick, remains compact throughout his load. Has quick hands, but swing remains flat. Lacks a sound approach, struggles to make consistent contact. Whiffs at pitches down and away. Shows room for potential, but his bat must improve to reach his offensive ceiling. Grade: 45

Power: Flat swing struggles for adequate power at the next level. Sold out for power his first couple seasons, but has become more of a contact-oriented hitter. Lacks home run power. Makes the majority of his hard contact pull side with hard line drives. Potential for more raw power as he fully matures, but lack of extension and loft limit his ceiling. Grade: 45

Field: Shows a natural ability in center field. Has good range and instincts to make up ground defensively. Tremendous hustle to snag fly balls to the warning track. Can be moved to a corner outfield spot if he adds more size. Has the tools to stick at either position. Grade: 55

Arm: Above-average arm strength and accuracy. Throws have good carry and life to reach the infield. Throws are on time and consistent. Solid tool to solidify his defensive profile. Grade: 55

Run: Above-average speed that flashes plus, but lacks consistency. Has great strides and immediate burst. Good acceleration out of the box. Speed hasn't translated to stolen bases. Very timid on the basepaths, limiting his athletic potential. Grade: 55

Overall: Beck has the athleticism and defensive traits of a center fielder, but his bat drastically needs to improve. He lacks consistent contact and power at the plate. There is still time for Beck to grow and improve, but his offensive ceiling is still in question.

Physical Description: Shorter, stout stature. Large upper body with big arms, wide shoulders and wide hips. Sturdy build with good strength throughout his body. More muscle can be added to his lower half.

Hit: Some swing and miss in the game, can get pull-happy. At his best when he's using the whole field and using his above average raw strength to impact the ball. Approach lacks maturity and patience at times. Grade: 40

Power: Above average raw power. Plate approach limits his ability to get into it in-game. Most of his power is pull side. Plenty of loft in the swing. More of an ambush power hitter. Grade: 50

Field: Average fielder who's body may force him off of shortstop soon. Bat would play better at second base in a platoon role. Plenty of arm to man any infield role, but lateral range will need to improve should he hope to stick at short long-term. Body may force him off the position anyways. Grade: 50

Arm: Very good arm that can play anywhere on the diamond. At least above average. Potentially plus in terms of strength, though accuracy has regressed a touch since 2018. Grade: 55

Run: Average runner who's body figures to age toward an average or even fringy runner as he debuts at the next level. Not a base-stealing threat. Grade: 50

Overall: Eierman's smooth stroke continues to improve in the minors, but he's running out of time. There's swing and miss here, but when he makes solid contact, it's to all fields. The power will need to carry the profile to it's ceiling. His lack of speed and projection limits his defensive capabilities and his aggressiveness on the basepaths. With more work defensively, Eierman's offensive profile can potentially help him reach the big leagues. Shown the work ethic to improve defensively. Well-liked person in every corner.

Physical Description: Prototypical pitchers build, thicker lower-half. Lacks projection on the frame because he is maxed out.

Fastball: 93-97 fastball with slight arm-side run at times. Consistently sits 95 but touches 97 when he needs it late in counts with below-average spin-rates of around 2100 RPMs. He has a tendency to nibble with the fastball and it doesn't have the movement characteristics that allow it to play up especially when he is nibbling up in the zone. If he leaves a fastball in the zone opposing batters tend to damage against it. Grade: 50

Slider: Below average spin-rate, at just under 2100 RPMs that touches 87 mph from time to time, slider with more of a slurvy shape. He gets less than an inch of horizontal movement and gets 34 inches of vertical movement on the slider. He uses it primarily against right-handed batters where he throws it on the outer half of the plate and has it dive in the dirt. He also avoids throwing the slider in the zone on a consistent basis. Grade: 40

Changeup: Rarely threw the changeup in my looks. It lacked significant velocity separation off of the fastball hitting 91 mph and was firm, and lacked movement. As he transitions towards a bullpen role he probably is best to eliminate the changeup from his repertoire. It looks more like a fringe fastball than a changeup and would get crushed if he keeps it in his repertoire. Grade: 30

Control and Command: He consistently nibbles around the strike-zone which at times hurts him and leads to walks. He also consistently leaves the catcher mixed up and doesn't throw the pitch where the catcher calls for. He isn't consistently in the strike-zone and will avoid the heart of the zone with most of his pitches. Control: 40 | Command: 30

Overall: Kaprielian has lost some of the luster of being a first round pick, while it shows well on a pure velocity look all of the pitches lack spin rates and movement traits that would entice someone. He has dealt with injuries in his past that took away his entire 2017 and 2018 seasons. The stuff has ticked down since the injuries. He lacks consistent control to even project him out as a reliever. He has a tendency to leave his pitches on the outer reaches of the zone because when he does throw the ball in the zone it has a tendency to be hit hard. He projects out as an emergency depth up down piece, which is a bummer considering he was once so highly thought of.

Physical Description: Utterly imposing on-mound presence. Massive build with huge legs, long arms, and a thick torso. Has to watch conditioning but mobility is fantastic for someone his size.

Delivery & Mechanics: Stretch only. Comes set with his front foot/hip forced closed and back leg pre-set. Goes into leg lift and raises hands to initiate trunk tilt. Great lower-half activation generates lots of power though heavy counter rotation into a high effort, straight over-the-top, and relatively long arm action leads to an inconsistent release. Long extension and a low release height offers added deception. Feel for mechanics notably took a step forward in the second half of 2019 and reportedly continued on throughout his time at the ATS and Instructs in 2020.

Fastball: 4-seam that sits 95-98 and can touch 100. Glimpses of great vertical movement but often ends up running unintentionally. Spin axis and efficiency appear inconsistent likely due to trouble finding his release point. Emphasis on letting the velo come naturally has helped his ability to control the fastball and fixing his release issues could make the pitch a truly great offering. Grade: 70

Slider: Very firm breaking ball at 86-88. Can flatten out and show cutter shape at times, though release angle makes it difficult to pick up regardless. Typically has sharp 2-plane movement and is capable of missing bats at a high rate. Commands down and to the glove side relatively well. Grade: 55

Changeup: Firm and flat around 87-90. Not a ton of fade or depth but release point and good arm speed do well to help tunnel off the fastball. Improved feel and a solid ability to command the change at the bottom of the zone and below make it a solid third offering. Grade: 50

Control and Command: Previously a spray-and-pray approach with primarily just the FB and SL, Charles has made big strides finding and staying around the zone. After years of egregious BB rates and lots of wild pitches, he finally has some feel for where the baseball is going. He does an OK job throwing to his glove side but will still leak pitches into hittable areas and lose the zone altogether at times. Control: 40 | Command: 30

Overall: Being added to the 40-Man Roster is very promising for Charles' future outlook, especially for someone who was left unprotected last year. If the development trend from the past year and a half is able to continue he could work his way into a low-leverage relief role, but for now, he projects as emergency depth due to the risk.

Physical Description: Physically imposing compared to the vast majority of baseball players, tall and physical standing at 6'4" with a well filled out frame. Built like an outside wide receiver in the NFL.

Hit: Switch hitter who stands tall at the plate with a wide stance, There is no difference in set-ups from his left-handed and right-handed swings. There is a slight bit of bat wag, and he takes a small stride towards the mound when the pitch has left the pitcher's hand. He looks to pull the ball from both-sides of the plate but has also shown an ability to take the ball the other way. He takes aggressive hacks at the plate, and can be susceptible to breaking stuff in the zone. He struggles to recognize spin out of the pitchers hand and against better breaking pitches he can be attacked. He is always looking to put the ball in the air so that hampers the amount of contact he makes. Grade: 30

Power: Reed has above average raw pop, thanks to his quick bat, upper cut bath path, and above average raw strength. He best gets to his power when there are pitches thrown on the inner third of the zone where he can pull the ball. He is always looking to put the ball in the air, where his power can play. He struggles to consistently get into his power because he consistently struggles to make contact. Grade: 55

Field: Reed profiles best in center where his lateral agility and plus reads off the bat play up. He can play in either corner outfield spot and profile as a plus defender there. Reed has an explosive first step, which allows him to make quick movements to the ball. He is equally adept at going to his left and his right to go track down balls in the gaps. He plays with flair in the outfield and can make the spectacular catch to save a hit, and tracks the ball well and will be able to rob his fair share of hits. Grade: 60

Arm: Reed's arm is a true asset for him, he has a strong arm and makes good accurate throws. He has enough arm to make baserunners think before they get aggressive and Reed will make the throw to gun down an over aggressive base runner. Grade: 60

Run: Long strider who gets to his top speed quickly, especially out of the box. He has quick jumps when he is trying to steal bases but as a long athlete he has a large target for opposing defenders to tag when he is stealing, but based off of the footspeed and his quick jump if given the opportunity to run he could be a perennial 20 plus steal guy. Grade: 60

Overall: There are a lot of tools here to be an exciting player, what is ultimately going to hold him back is his hit tool. He has the glove and arm to be a late-inning defensive replacement player, and has the speed that he could be a pinch-runner for a more cumbersome base runner. If the hit tool takes a tick up he becomes an even more interesting player but he lacks the amount of contact you would want even from a second division regular.

Physical Description: Big, mostly maxed out frame that has benefitted from some reverse projection. Long arms and legs with a somewhat high waist and recent video shows much better conditioning than his pro debut in 2019. Frame has some visible muscle now, but far from ideal. Live, fast arm. Very relaxed on the mound, almost unengaged but intensity seemed to ramp up later in 2019 season. Elbow sprain in 2018.

Delivery & Mechanics: Full windup; Deliberate, slow-moving delivery. Leg lift comes waist high as he coils the whole body away from the hitter. Low effort delivery has ticked up to moderate effort. Long arm action drops down and loops behind back; fires from 3/4s slot. Fast, whippy arm. Average extension; high finish. Moderate separation. Very simple from the stretch: rocks back into the rear leg and delivers. Not a slide step, but hardly lifts the lead foot. Will vary his timing to keep runner/hitter honest.

Fastball: 91-93, t94; Solid ride and run. Induces frequent pop-ups at the top of the zone. Can sneak it back over the plate for called strikes gloveside. Attacks hitters with it and typically hits his spots. Can start and finish at bats with it. Grade: 55

Curveball: 69-76; vertical breaker with a little sweep to it. 1-7 shape. Big, deep break. Drops it in for strikes backdoor and buries for chases. Mainly used against righties. Not afraid to double or triple up with it. Humps out of the hand from time to time, but hitters struggle to make good contact even when they see it coming. May not be as effective against elite competition. Grade: 50

Slider: 78-81; Sweepy slider with some depth to it. Best ones have late, hard cut. Tightness is inconsistent. Used mostly as a chase pitch against lefties. Grade: 45

Changeup: Decent fade and depth. Doesn't locate it all that well, frequently buries too low or leaves over the heart. Least used pitch. Needs refinement to be more than a change of pace pitch. Grade: 45

Control and Command: Typically around the zone, but not always in it and will lose guys to a walk if they're patient. Works ahead in counts regularly, but would rather walk a guy than come over the heart in deep counts. Nibbles too much at times instead of continuing to attack. Commands fastball best, but typically able to drop in slider and curve where he wants them; changeup lags behind. Control: 40 | Command: 30

Overall: Harris is a thick lefty who touched 8's in college but sits mostly low-90s now. He features 2 breakers, each with quite a bit of movement, but not consistently sharp and a changeup that has potential but needs refinement. He's rumored to have scrapped them both in favor of a slurve, but we haven't seen it in game action yet. Harris' arsenal is deep enough to start, but doesn't quite have the punch to overcome his finicky command. Likely a low-leverage reliever who fits well in the 3-batter era who could be used in a pinch as an emergency starter.

Physical Description: Stocky, boxy build, with broad squared shoulders and muscular forearms. Physically mature teenager with a muscular frame that should fill out in the coming years, and might require moderate maintenance.

Hit: Slightly open stance, front toe offset, hand set by back shoulder, deep into back hip with leg kick trigger that contacts before trigger. Fairly long swing path, with a rotational finish with some flair. Shows the ability to high high fastballs and anything in on his hands, struggles with anything off the plate or in the lower quadrants. Fair amount of swing and miss due to unrefined approach. Upside to get to a plus hit tool, but will need to cut down on zone expansion and swing and miss. Grade: 40

Power: Home run hunter, that looks to elevate on every pitch. Pull-side flyball heavy approach with the bat speed and raw strength to make it work. Uppercut finish, lower half engagement and rotational follow through allow Perez to drive balls out in front and get all of his body weight behind his best contact. There's a legitimate chance for above average game power at peak but it would take an improvement half a grade in the future hit tool. Grade: 50

Field: Corner outfield profile likely best suited for left field long term. Lacks significant makeup speed, and will take below average routes. Doesn't do too much and does a good job of keeping the ball in front of him. Grade: 40

Arm: Average arm that should play in either corner, not really a weapon. Strong accuracy and average carry and strength. Grade: 50

Run: Below average runner, slow out of the box, lacks makeup sword in the field. Slightly better than a station to station runner in the bases at the moment but unlikely to be anything more than a fringe average runner at best. Grade: 40

Overall: Bat first corner outfield type with a knack for the barrel and the strength to make it work. Lacks much value outside the batters box applying additional pressure on Perez's bat to perform. So far he has, as Perez tied the then Rangers -now Rays- Heriberto Hernandez for the AZL home run crown. How much a season off and new organization have impacted Perez is up in the air. A potential breakout candidate set for a full season debut in 2021.

Switch-hitter, his right handed stance is slightly wider and more open. Uses a semi leg-lift and swings on an upward plane due to front leg lock-out. Decent bat speed. Most likely a pull-side hitter from both sides of the plate. Really wide base after leg lift with front leg-lock out and a slight lean over the plate generally causes hard pull side and weak opposite field contact. Sells out for power. Slightly below average ability to draw walks and bat-to-ball skills. As a natural left-handed hitter, he sells out for more power on that side. Front leg locks out as he tries to elevate the ball. He does have some natural strength, but not enough to be a 20 home run type of player. Would be better suited to move his knee down and forward through contact to spray more balls and make additional contact. He does not lock out as much on the right side but he is better from the left side. Can catch up to fast pitches so has potential to improve his hit tool barring adjustments. Grade: 30

Power: Average bat speed and some present strength in the frame creates some gap-to-gap power. Bat path is on an upward plane creating more loft in his swing. Generally power would be generated to pull side. Does run well for a catcher which could create some extra bases but he does have current gap-to-gap power. Sells out for power but would be better suited to try and hit for more contact. Grade: 40

Field: Excellent defender behind the plate. Smooth hands catches ball up into the zone and sticks pitches in the strike zone. Good receiver. Athleticism contributes to advanced blocking ability. Fielding could fast track him to the Major Leagues as a backup catcher. Grade: 60

Arm: Strong and accurate throws to the bases. Consistent sub-2 pop times. Compliments his fielding ability well. Grade: 60

Run: Millas moves really well for a catcher thanks to his present athleticism. He is no burner by all means but he runs a sub-7 60-yard dash. Hustles out of the box and moves down the line pretty well. Grade: 45

Overall: Glove-first catcher. Could definitely improve his hit tool and become a league average hitter if he no longer locks out his front leg and sells out for power. Superior glove and arm could fast track him to the Major Leagues. Could be a big league mainstay if he makes adjustments. He has not played an affiliated game yet due to injuries upon being drafted. Catcher is a physical position and requires a durable body. We have a small sample size so far with his injuries but he poses a high risk.

Physical Description: High waisted, gangly frame. Extremely long levers with some projection remaining. One of the tallest pitchers in the entire minor leagues. Could easily be mistaken for an NBA power forward.

Delivery & Mechanics: Howard works out of the windup with a rocker step into a high leg kick. Moves quickly to the plate with short extension but a longer arm action in a traditional over-the-top delivery. Creates deception from an extremely tough approach angle due to his lower release for his frame. Keeps his body under control well, and will repeat his mechanics with ease.

Fastball: 90-93. Heavy arm side run with natural sink. Will work the inside half primarily with plus command of the pitch, especially effective against LHH. Grade: 50

Cutter: Best pitch in Howard's arsenal. Gets hard, late cut in the pitch anywhere in the zone. Can manipulate the pitch to have big sweep or gyro movement at the bottom of the zone. Throws the pitch with confidence, and leans on it to get whiffs consistently. Grade: 55

Curveball: Howard will throw a mid to high 70s that shows a good 11/5 shape. Pitch can get loopy and hang up in the zone when he doesn't stay on top of it. Pitch can flash above average on occasion, but doesn't show enough feel currently to warrant that grade. Grade: 45

Changeup: Fringe-average pitch. Howard will maintain good arm speed and shows some feel for it; it's consistent. Will get good movement on the pitch, but has a tendency to leave it up in the zone to be hit hard. Grade: 45

Control and Command: Possibly the best aspect to Howard's profile. Will control the zone with ease with the FB/CT combo, and shows good feel for both breaking pitches as well. Does a fantastic job limiting walks and will throw a ton of strikes. Control: 55 | Command: 50

Overall: The lanky TCU product gives you a fringy starters profile led by a near plus combo in the fastball and cutter and above-average command. Will need to learn to sequence better to create more swing and miss, but can be effective enough to fill-in as a spot starter if the command holds long term.

Overall: Romero keeps two advanced pitches around the plate enough to challenge and likely punch out big league batters at a solid clip. Delivery & Mechanics: Semi-wind up; slight drop and drive. Low 3/4 arm slot with average arm speed and low effort in the delivery. Some deception with high leg kick and unconventional hand break which is hidden behind leg kick. Major claw behind back with pause at the bottom of the arm swing. Minimal extension with not much of a follow through. Low effort allows leads to fairly repeatable delivery.

Fastball: Sits 88-91 mph. Slight cutting action with good downward plane. Mistakes get hit due to lack of velocity but still manages to miss bats at a higher rate than expected due to deception. Sustains velocity late in games. Good control, around the zone frequently. Able to elevate allowing velo to play up. Shows ability to throw to all four quadrants although will lose command for spurts. Command and control are key for the pitch to be successful. Grade: 45

Curveball: Sits 72-74 mph. Big 11-5 break. Lacks sharp bite. Easy to see out of the hand. Around the zone frequently. Shows ability to keep hitters off balance but lacks swing and miss potential. Below-average command, backs up frequently. More of a get-me-over type pitch. Grade: 40

Slider: Sits 84-86 mph. Sharp, short tilt when on top, almost a cutter at times. Occasionally gets on side and flattens out. Comfortable throwing in all counts to both RHH and LHH. Freezes hitters and can get whiffs. Commands very well, consistently low in the zone. Potential out pitch. Grade: 55

Changeup: Sits 82-84 mph. Good arm side run with sinking action. Creates deception by keeping good arm speed. Shows feel for pitch, but uses infrequently. Work in progress with potential. Grade: 50

Control and Command: Around the zone frequently with a feel for all four pitches. Gets ahead of hitters often. Shows ability to command fastball to both sides of the plate, but needs to be more consistent. Keeps the ball down with SL well. Needs to improve command of CB, leaves over the plate too often. Overall: Dunshee does not have a pitch that stands out, but shows great pitchability with his four-pitch mix. He shows the ability to use all four pitches in any count versus RHH or LHH, although the changeup is used sparingly. Without a true out pitch, Dunshee has to rely on deception and control to get outs. He has done a good job of that so far in his career, but is going to be hard to do on a consistent basis at the big league level with his current repertoire. He is likely suited for a spot starter role.

Physical Description: 6-foot-3, 175 pound frame. Tall and extremely lanky. Long limbs with hair nearly as long. Despite being 28, it appears as if Weems could fill out further.

Delivery & Mechanics: Exclusively pitches out of the stretch. Drop and drive; throws from a high 3/4 arm slot, nearly over the top. Moderate effort. Arm is long at first, but creates some whip near the end of delivery. Stride is on-line and he moves down the mound well, creating good but not extraordinary extension. Repeats mechanics well, creates some deception due to long limbs. Hand high separation creates some swim with his glove hand and lead leg.

Fastball: Fastball is his primary pitch almost to the point of overuse. 93-97, touches 99. Average spin but utilizes almost all of it, creating good ride up in the zone. Not a lot of horizontal movement, pretty straight. Grade: 55

Slider: Utilized as a put-away pitch for right-handed batters. High 80's with average spin and bite. Not as effective as the other two pitches. Decent horizontal movement. Grade: 40

Changeup: Primary put-away pitch. Solid tumble and compliments fastball really well. Straight changeup, but occasionally has some fade to it. Hitters struggle to read it out of the hand and are fooled often. Grade: 50

Control and Command: Hands-high separator creates some swim in his glove-side hand and lead leg. Causes a little bit of arm drag leading to misses up and in or low and away to right handed batters. Impacts control of the strike zone. Walk rate was higher than average in 2020. Control: 40 | Command: 30

Overall: Weems has a solid three-pitch mix that plays in the Major Leagues. Hard fastball with good ride, a put-away changeup and a show-me slider is solid for a relief pitcher. Profiles more as a reliever than a starter. Mechanics lead to less-than-stellar control but it might assist in his strikeout numbers; effectively wild. Weems was drafted as a hitter in 2011 and converted to the mound in 2016. While his 2020 showing was good, his lack of experience is a double-edged sword that gives him room to grow and also makes him a higher risk.

Control and Command: He works both sides of the plate. Low fastball locates well - belt high and above starts to lose accuracy. Backdoor curveball can be located well, gloveside he tends to spike it. Overall: Jimenez has a mature mound presence and could be a power, two pitch reliever. He had 1.1 innings MLB experience with the Giants in 2020 and could see a little more with the A's if he is able to locate his pitches better. Age may play a factor as he is 27, which means he must fix his accuracy quickly or they will move onto younger potential. 2021 may be the deciding season for his future.

Power: Above-average raw power from both sides and shows an ability to get to it in-game, particularly from the left side. Mostly pull side. Regularly drives the ball to the gaps. Field: Gets above-average jumps and tracks the ball well. Shows good instincts, and has the footspeed to recover on bad reads. Not as fluid of an athlete as some, but he has above-average range in CF. Has experience across the outfield. Grade: 55

Arm: Above-average arm strength with good carry from the grass. Regularly hits the cutoff and mostly on target when tested. Arm plays in all three outfield positions Grade: 55

Run: Timed 4.23 down the line from the right side. Hustles out of the box. Some effort. Not a base stealing threat, despite his otherwise plus speed. Grade: 60

Overall: Bolt's hit tool lags behind his otherwise average or better tools, and he likely profiles as a backup because of it. It's a high-probability floor, however, because he runs well and is an above-average defender across all outfield positions. Bolt is on the 40-man roster, and figures to have at least an up/down role in 2021. Even a slight improvement with the stick could bolster his chances of sticking as a fourth outfielder.

Run: Timed 4.03 down the line from the left side. Hustles out of the box and can hit an extra gear. Has plus-plus speed, but the tool plays down on the basepaths. Aggressive in trying to take an extra base on balls to the grass, which both aids in his doubles and triples and hinders his putouts. Has the speed to be a threat on the basepaths, but his initial burst lags behind his top-end speed, and he gets caught too often when trying to steal. Grade: 70

Overall: Barrera has some notable tools, including his arm and speed, but the overall package translates as a high-likelihood backup in the outfield. While he does have above-average bat-to-ball skills, he lacks the power most teams covet. He can be overly-aggressive in all facets of the game.

Physical Description: Very stocky, physical frame with a lack of future projection. Muscle mass is clear to see in his lower half and shoulders.

Hit: Diaz is just a joy to watch swing a stick. Uses a wide, open base that settles into a slight crouch. Hands placed right below his ear with a slight bat wiggle in his preload. Will begin his load with a high leg kick before showing above average bat speed through the zone. Shows elite ability to manipulate his barrel throughout the strike zone creating high level bat-to-ball abilities. Will spray the ball to all fields without changing his approach by utilizing a short, linear bat path that will attack balls out front. Diaz can get beat by velocity up, but doesn't miss fastballs in the zone and shows a keen eye for spin. Easy to see the potential in bat going forward. Grade: 55

Power: A quickly improving aspect to Diaz profile. Natural strength in the frame combined with his plus bat speed have allowed his power numbers to make a huge jump in the past 18 months. Incorporates his lower half extremely well. A slight change in launch angle has let Diaz to tap into consistent pop predominantly to the pull side, but now has even started to show the ability to drive the ball to the opposite field with more ease. Grade: 50

Field: Diaz will show inconsistent flashes of an impressive glove at the hot corner. Puts himself into good positions and will show soft hands when receiving. Will pivot and bend well at the waist, but lacks overall quickness when moving laterally. Has the tools to make all the plays, but will get out of control on occasion leading to a fair amount of unforced errors. Grade: 45

Arm: Loudest tool in his defensive profile. Will showcase a cannon when he gets his feet set, but shows the arm talent to make strong throws on the move. Can make throws with pace and carry from multiple angles. Can get excitable and rush throws, but overall the arm plays well at 3B. Grade: 55

Run: Diaz will get an explosive first step out of the box clocking near plus times going home to first, but lacks a true second gear. Doesn't possess the footwork and instincts to be a true base stealer, but has a chance to swipe a few bags. Grade: 45

Overall: Jordan Diaz is a very interesting bat in this Athletics system. Shows potential to have the best bat-to-ball skills in the entire organization with a chance to grow into 20 HR pop eventually. Needs to show the consistent ability to make the everyday play at 3B to stick long term, but this bat can hold enough weight to carry his profile. Overall package is very similar to Detroit 3B Issac Paredes.

Physical Description: Long, lanky build at 6'2", 195 pounds with lengthy levers. Certainly has room to add strength throughout his body. High waisted pitcher. Not a physical specimen by any means. Highly regarded prep arm out of West Orange HS in Florida, though stuff diminished slightly while at UNC.

Delivery & Mechanics: Both the wind-up and stretch feature a high leg kick with a crossfire in his delivery. There is effort in the delivery and the arm action will need to be improved if he wishes to stay in the rotation long term. Arm slot is primarily high three-quarters, though it will get inconsistent at times, especially late into starts.

Fastball: As a high schooler, Baum sat in the low-90's and touched 96 MPH. The velocity fluctuated at times while in Chapel Hill, though he began to get more velocity back in his junior year. Baum was regularly sitting 91-94 MPH and topped out at 97 MPH at times, consistently touching the upper-90's more often with average spin rates at around 2,200 RPM's. This velocity followed him to pro ball, as well. The pitch can get good run, though it can be inconsistent at times. He can get more ride on the pitch, as well, as he only averaged 13.5 inches of vertical break at UNC. Can flash plus at times, though it's likely an above-average offering at the next level. Grade: 55

Curveball: The best secondary in his offering, the curveball is a hard thrown breaker in the high-70's to low-80's. It's got good spin, averaging more than 2,300 RPM's, with a tight, 11-5 shape with good two-plane break. The pitch can get slurvy at times, however. Much like the fastball, it has flashed plus in the past, though there needs to be more consistency. Above-average offering. Grade: 55

Changeup: Baum's change-up has been a work in progress throughout his high school and college careers, though it's become a more consistent pitch that can mirror the fastball well at times. It's a low-80's offering with decent separation from the fastball and nice fade to it. The pitch averages nearly 1,800 RPM's, as well. There is a chance that it can become an average offering in the future, though the inconsistencies of the pitch limit it to a fringe-average offering presently. Grade: 45

Control and Command: Baum's control and command have gradually gotten better as he's progressed in his career. His walk rate dropped significantly during his junior year at UNC and it continued to drop in his debut season at Vermont. The improvements have given more hope that Baum could stay a starter, though he could still ultimately become a reliever. Control: 50 | Command: 45

Overall: Baum provides the Athletics with an intriguing option. While the arm action and delivery hamper his efforts to be a starter, the improved control and command help him stay in the conversation. Ultimately, he'll likely be reverted to a relief arm with a solid fastball-curveball combo, though a spot start can't be ruled out for Baum.
